Sassy Sage generates captions for photos you upload. By using it you agree to what's below. It's written plainly on purpose — if something here is unclear, ask rather than guess.
Who can use it
You need to be at least 16. If you're under 16, this isn't for you.
What you may upload
Only images you have the right to use. Don't upload:
- photos where a child or teenager is the subject;
- sexual, graphic or violent images;
- identity documents, or screenshots of someone's private messages or accounts;
- photos of a person who has told you not to, or where the point is to humiliate a specific individual;
- anything you don't have permission to upload.
The service refuses a lot of this automatically, but the automatic checks are a backstop, not permission to try. Repeatedly pushing at them will get your access removed.
If you think someone is using this service against a real person — theirs or anyone else's photo, used to harass — report it to security@sassysage.top and we'll act on it.
What the captions are
They're jokes produced by a language model. They are not statements of fact about anyone or anything in the photo, they're sometimes wrong, and they're sometimes just unfunny. You decide what to do with them — if you publish a caption, that's your publication and your responsibility.
Roast mode is aimed at choices: clothes, lighting, composition, fonts, poses, props. It is instructed never to make jokes about things a person didn't choose — body, face, skin, disability, apparent age, race, ethnicity, religion, gender or sexuality. If you ever see it cross that line, tell us; that's a bug, not a feature.
Your content stays yours
You keep all rights to the photos you upload. We don't claim ownership, we don't publish them, and we don't use them to train models. Captions the service generates are yours to use however you like, including commercially.
We need a narrow, temporary licence to do the obvious thing: process your photo in order to caption it. That licence ends when the request ends.
Free use and credits
- Without an account you get one caption set per day, counted per network address.
- Signed in, you get five a day.
- Credits are consumed only after the free allowance. One credit is one caption set.
- If a request is refused by the content rules or fails on our side, you aren't charged — the credit is returned automatically.
- Credits don't expire. Unused credits can be refunded on request; used ones can't, because each one has already cost compute.
Don't try to get around the limits — scripted access, rotating addresses, or sharing credit codes at scale. We'd rather sell you credits than play that game.
Availability
This is a small service that depends on a third-party model provider. It will occasionally be slow, refuse things it shouldn't, or be down. There's no uptime guarantee. If it's broken in a way that cost you credits, email billing@sassysage.top and we'll put them back.
Ending access
You can stop using it whenever you like; ask and we'll delete your account. We may suspend access for the upload rules above, for abuse of the limits, or for anything that puts the service or its provider at risk.
The legal minimum
The service is provided as-is, without warranties. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to it is limited to what you've paid us in the preceding twelve months. Nothing here limits liability that can't legally be limited.
If we change these terms materially we'll update this page and the date at the top. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the change.
